“Supporting our school any way we can. We work together to create fun and engaging events for our students, provide snacks and special gifts for all staff, and partner with the Edgewater Community to boost our school spirit.”
The Edgewater Elementary PTO is a volunteer parent-teacher organization serving the PreK–5 families of Edgewater Elementary in Edgewater, Maryland. We fund and run the things that don't fit in a school budget line — the fun run, the dance, the coffee in the staff lounge on a hard Tuesday.
Everything we raise stays here, at this school, for these kids and the adults who spend their days with them.
Every one of us has a kid in this building. Stop us in the hallway, or email edgewaterespto@gmail.com and it reaches all of us.

Takes the meeting minutes, keeps the member list current, and makes sure the family email updates actually go out.
Treasurer
3rd & 5th grade parent
Tracks every dollar in and out, handles memberships and sponsorships, and reports the numbers back at each meeting.
Past President
Amanda led this PTO for the past few years and we are genuinely grateful for everything she put into it — the events, the volunteers, the hundred small things nobody sees. She's stepping back from the board this year, but you'll still see her around while she helps Phyllis settle into the role.
Thank you, Amanda. From all of us.
Genuinely — any of these is enough. Some years you have a free Saturday, some years you barely have a free Tuesday. Both are fine.
$15 a year, five minutes, done. It funds events and puts you on the list for updates.
